Kidding Around

Hey y'all!  My little one and I have been working on her dolls' bedroom and it is now finally done.  Here are pictures of the finished product. 

Twins Courtney and Camryn are loving their little room!

I really like the armoire we found at the Goodwill!

It has plenty of storage space!

Now that I'm thinking about it, doors to the room would be a nice touch!  We'll get on those later though.

Goodwill Hunting

Hey y'all.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I sure did!  I got stuffed on my holiday fave, Dutch crust sweet potato casserole! Mmph mmph. But anywho, today I did a little scouting at the local Goodwill store and found two neat Barbie accessories.  

 This dining set, it was $2.99 and this Bratz Boyz clothing set

it was only 1.99. I snatched them off the shelf so fast the sprinklers came on:). The dinner set was totally cute with its little place mats, entrees, and sides plus silverware and condiments. I knew the the outfit would fit none of my men but I couldn't let it pass me by so Sydney is modeling it.

I think it's cute! Well that all for now.

Carried Away

Okay, I'm just going to admit that I have a problem with being super obsessive about things I find interesting.  I'm embarrassed to say what lengths my obsessions drive me to, but anywho. Here are pics of a living room diorama and a bedding set that I have been working on. 

This is a repainted Gloria set that I got from eBay. It's being modeled by Chasity Faith and her baby girl Kai-Lynn. 

Still needs work but right now it's fine with me. 

This is a bedding set handmade by me. I picked up three different discontinued fabric samples from JoAnn's for .50 cents a piece.  I used the two other fabrics for the living room carpet and curtains.  The lamp was a Christmas ornament from Wal-Mart.  I was tipped off on this treasure by Vanessa of Fashion Dolls at Van's Treasures.  

Brandi and Jason seem to be enjoying their new bed.

Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Hey y'all it's Frenchy! I'm new to this blogging thing so please bear with me.  About two years ago I was surfing YouTube when I came across http://vansdolltreasures.blogspot.com/ videos.  I thought they were awesome.  I've been following her periodically along with a few other bloggers whose stories and dioramas have caught my attention.  They remind me of how my two younger sister and I used to play.  Now I'm playing with my daughter and it's amazing what her little imagination can come up with.   As our doll collection has continued to grow we thought giving our dolls a story would be a great idea.  So here we are, it's work in progress but we're having fun along the way.
